Lent & Holy Week
Lent commemorates Jesus Christ’s forty days of fasting and prayer in the desert and prepares the faithful for His Passion, death, and Resurrection. It is a season of repentance, prayer, fasting, and almsgiving.

Why Holy Week Matters
Though Jesus was born in Bethlehem to Mary and Joseph, He exists eternally as the Word of God and is present throughout all of Scripture. During Holy Week, many prophecies are fulfilled as Christ offers Himself for the salvation of humanity. Each Gospel recounts this sacred week (Matthew 21–28; Mark 11–16; Luke 19–24; John 12–21).
